Now that you are registered to coze.com you can start exploring your options.

First things first click on Create bot to get your first custom bot started. Click create agent:

Here you can give a name and a short description to your bot. You can include a profile picture as well.

Click Confirm and you are in.

This is the dashboard where all the magic happens. I know at first this might be overwhelming, but don’t worry we will cover every little detail in this course.

The first thing on the left is the Persona & Prompt field. Here you can give your exact instructions to your custom bot.

This is not your average prompt to ChatGPT. Don’t just include 1 or two sentences and expect your custom bot to save the world. You need to think about this logically and build out a very specific and detailed prompt.

You need to be as exact as you can be.

1. Firstly, include what you would like the bot to do in simple-to-understand words.
2. Include a section of expertise for the bot. You have to tell the bot what exactly it is an expert in. This way it will only focus on these expertise when answering your prompts.
3. After the expertise include the goal of the chatbot. What do you want the chatbot to accomplish? What are the end results you’d like to see
4. Create a Don’ts section. This is important to include because your chatbot may steer off course when answering your prompts. This section serves as the compass. Include as many details as you can to keep the chatbot laser-focused on the goal.
5. Lastly, include a section about how the chatbots should structure its answers. Again make it very specific. How long should the answers be, should it break the message up into paragraphs, and what should the wording look like? How about tone of voice and grammar level?

The more specific you are the better your chatbot will perform.
